The Palette Finder / Simple color relationships

Give each color a role.

A useful palette does more than place swatches together. Explore where a light, dark or accent color could go, then inspect complete looks that use the relationship.

How it works

A practical starting point.

01

Pick a starting point

Choose a color, contrast level and optional style. Every swatch has a text label, so the interface does not rely only on seeing its color.

02

Place the colors

Read a proposed role for the top, bottom, shoes or outer layer. Save a palette and compare two options when you want another direction.

03

Inspect the examples

Exact examples use the palette’s main colors. Variations name missing and extra colors, so a neutral base alone is not presented as a full match.

An example, not your saved data

A cream-only outfit is not an exact blue-and-brown palette. A blue-and-cream combination can be shown as a variation missing brown; a look with blue denim and brown footwear can provide both main colors.

Saved data stays in this browser. Clearing site storage removes local data; export a wardrobe backup when you want another copy.
